I have served on a number of boards, but with C.A.R.E. I have had the opportunity to meet many of the individuals we serve and am proud to be able to contribute some support and comfort to women and families facing frightening and difficult times.”

Sandy joined the C.A.R.E. board in 2020 after several years of a volunteer with the organization. She met the C.A.R.E. team at a support group meeting where she attended with a guest speaker while working for a hospice organization. As a healthcare professional since her early years spent in the US Army, Sandy has accrued many years of experience in the pharmaceutical, hospice, and home health industries which, in aggregate, provide her with a unique background for contributing to the C.A.R.E. team.
Sandy is an avid surfer and photographer who enjoys combing the beach for sea glass and tending to an unruly butterfly and bee garden. She can generally be found working hard for at-risk patients in the community, spending time with her family, and tirelessly vacuuming up an inexhaustible mountain of pet hair.

Social Media Lead
Brandi Gallego
Brandi has been around healthcare for as long as she can remember. From straightening the exam room tables in a pediatric office before her school bus arrived to currently back in school to become a nurse practitioner. I was introduced to the C.A.R.E. organization and felt honored to be invited to be a part of such a great organization. As far as my personal life goes, I'm married to my high school sweetheart, have 2 wonderful kids, and 2 fur babies. I love when the sun hits my face, working out, coffee, date nights, and I have a ridiculous amount of coffee mugs. I have seen a lot and remind myself that tomorrow isn't a promise. With that, I embrace each day but like to make efforts to care for myself to enjoy it all. That's me in a nutshell, so glad to be a part of this organization!
