Meet The Team
President of the Board
Alice Spinell, NP
“The way to improve health care for women is through advocacy. When women and those who support them stand up with a united voice and demand change, that’s when it happens. I am privileged to be part of the chorus.”
Alice serves as President of the Board and is a founding member of the organization.
Alice received her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from Florida State University in 1978. She went on to obtain her Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Virginia in 1982. In 2000, she received her MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Alice has specialized in oncology, primarily gynecologic cancer, for 40 years. Her specific areas of interest include cancer genetics and promotion of the HPV vaccine. She is originally from New York, grew up in Miami and has lived in Melbourne since 2000. She is married to her supportive husband, Tom Culbreth and has a wonderful extended family, good friends and four legged children who keep her busy but yet make her smile every day.
Vice-President of the Board
Julie Glocker Pierce
“One of my dearest friends is a survivor and member of the Board. She thought having an attorney on the Board would be beneficial and asked me to serve. I was honored. I have served on a number of boards, but with C.A.R.E. I have had the opportunity to meet many of the individuals we serve and am proud to be able to contribute some support and comfort to women and families facing frightening and difficult times.”
Julie is an attorney and serves as the Board Vice-President. She graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1984. Julie began practicing in a general practice firm in Brevard County, FL representing hospitals, municipalities and businesses as well as individuals. Julie is now the owner of Julie Glocker Pierce, LLC in Indialantic and restricts her practice to marital and family law and estate planning and probate.
“Surround and fill yourself with love and positive energy…”
Alice serves as the Board secretary and is a founding member of the organization. She graduated with her BSN from the University of South Florida and is recently retired from Brevard Health Alliance as a Nurse Manager.
Alice was born in Bartow, Florida and grew up in Lakeland, Florida but has been in Brevard for twenty years. Alice is a third generation Floridian who loves water, manatees, kayaking, gardening, traveling, family and a golden retriever named Molly. Alice is married to Brian Fox.
“When I supported Alice through her cancer surgery and treatments many years ago, there were no C.A.R.E. type services available. Seeing the various types of support that C.A.R.E. provides today, and the appreciation that current and past patients show for this support, provides my motivation for serving as a C.A.R.E. Board member.”
Brian is the Board Treasurer and is a founding member of the organization. He is married to Alice Robbins-Fox who is a survivor. Born in Pennsylvania but raised in Lakeland, Florida, Brian graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) in 1987. While working for the Air Force at Eglin AFB, Florida, he earned his MS degree from the University of Florida in 1994. Brian transferred to Patrick AFB in 1997 where he recently retired as an Electronics Engineer.

As a healthcare professional since her early years spent in the US Army, Sandy has accrued many years of experience in the pharmaceutical, hospice, and home health industries which, in aggregate, provide her with a unique background for contributing to the C.A.R.E. team.
Sandy is an avid surfer and photographer who enjoys combing the beach for sea glass and tending to an unruly butterfly and bee garden. She can generally be found working hard for at-risk patients in the community, spending time with her family, and tirelessly vacuuming up an inexhaustible mountain of pet hair.

Brandi has been around healthcare for as long as she can remember. From straightening the exam room tables in a pediatric office before her school bus arrived to currently back in school to become a nurse practitioner. I was introduced to the C.A.R.E. organization and felt honored to be invited to be a part of such a great organization. As far as my personal life goes, I'm married to my high school sweetheart, have 2 wonderful kids, and 2 fur babies. I love when the sun hits my face, working out, coffee, date nights, and I have a ridiculous amount of coffee mugs. I have seen a lot and remind myself that tomorrow isn't a promise. With that, I embrace each day but like to make efforts to care for myself to enjoy it all. That's me in a nutshell, so glad to be a part of this organization!
Tramesha is an Administrative Coordinator and serves as a Board member. She graduated from Warner University with a BA in Business Administration and a concentration in Management.
