About the Event
We are broadening our outreach to all women with our theme, Shine the Light on Women’s Cancers. Since there is a connection between breast and ovarian cancers, we want women to be aware of this risk. We hope you will come and join us for an afternoon of enjoyment, good food, and to hear an inspirational presentation. There will be silent auction items to bid on and raffle gift baskets to choose from. As always, all proceeds go to gynecologic cancer research. Our guest speaker is Amy Sweezey, a former television meteorologist for many years. She travels around as a public speaker, a published author of award-winning children’s books, and a media professional. Tickets are $60.00 per person (including parking). I realize it is a long distance but perhaps carpooling is an option. Karen can arrange for you to all sit at the same table.
